Just arrived today and I'm honestly super impressed with the packaging. It comes in a sturdy zippered travel case that will actually protect the loupes in my clinic bag. Really appreciate that they included the tiny adjustment screwdriver, neck strap, and the separate Rx insert frame (inside the small baggie on the left). Tried them on quickly��optics are remarkably clear with nice multi-layer coating. Can��t wait to test them on my first crown prep tomorrow!
Have been using these every single working day since spring. Hinges are as crisp as day one, optics have zero haze, and the frame shows zero wear and tear. Couldn't ask for a better set of daily loupes.
I don't have to freeze my head like a statue to keep things in focus. There's plenty of room to shift slightly while working without losing the focal plane. Makes long scaling sessions much more relaxing.
I've owned Orascoptic and Q-Optics over my 18-year career. Optical clarity on this straight lens design is 95% identical, but at a fraction of the cost. Customer service was also very responsive when I asked about IPD adjustment.

Performance-wise, these punch way above their weight class. Crisp visual field, great depth of focus. Just wish they offered a couple more funky frame colors like rose gold or matte black, but the blue looks clean and professional.
The silicone nose pads have good grip even when things get warm under the mask and face shield. They don't dig into bone and are easy to wipe down with disinfectant wipes after every patient.
I run 9-to-5 back to back exams. Having two batteries sitting on the dual charger while I use the third means I've never once had my light die on me mid-procedure. The magnetic swap takes literally two seconds.
I can see an entire quadrant without having to pan my head around constantly. The transition between looking through the lenses and glancing down at my tray is seamless. Very happy hygienist here!
They slipped off the counter while I was wiping down the operatory between patients. Had a minor heart attack, but the metal hinges and barrels didn't even lose alignment. Very well constructed.

Some cheap loupes have that awful yellow tint or purple chromatic fringing on margins. These lenses are super true to color, which is a huge deal when I'm shade matching composite for anterior incisors.

I'm 6'2" so I always worry working distances are made for shorter clinicians. The working distance is generous enough that I don't have to hunch forward into the oral cavity. Very comfortable setup.
The optics are as sharp as loupes double this price. My only minor gripe was getting used to the touch sensor on the light—brushed my shoulder against it once and turned it off mid-prep. Once I got conscious of hand placement, it's been great.
Was slightly worried they might slip down my nose when breaking a sweat on impacted thirds, but with the included head strap tightened they stayed completely locked in. Excellent build quality.
Doing full-mouth deep scale cleanings all day was killing my posture. With the 2.5x working distance, I can actually sit back upright against my operator stool and still see subgingival calculus clearly. Life saver.
My high-end custom TTLs got sent in to replace a cracked lens. Bought these just so I wouldn't be blind for 4 weeks. Turns out I like the flexibility of flipping them up so much that my TTLs are now sitting in the drawer.
My eyes are spaced a little unevenly so I always struggled with fixed pupillary distance loupes giving me double vision. The little thumb knobs let me adjust each side individually until it clicked into one crisp circle. Took maybe 60 seconds.

Had a tricky upper first molar yesterday and the field illumination paired with the 3.5x magnification made locating the extra canal significantly less frustrating. Crisp view with zero distortion around the perimeter.
Optical quality is fantastic, depth of field is very forgiving. The hard travel case it comes with is super protective, though it takes up a lot of room in my clinic backpack. Loupes themselves are great daily workhorses.
Most flip-ups feel like you strapped a brick to your face. These are light enough that I don't get those deep red marks on the bridge of my nose after four hygiene patients in a row.
I debated getting just the glasses, but added the wireless light at checkout. Best choice ever. No wires dragging across my neck or catching on chair arms. The batteries just click on magnetically.
Tried a colleague's 90-degree ergo loupes and got instantly disoriented, practically made me seasick. Went with these straight optics instead. Zero dizziness, intuitive hand-eye coordination from day one.
